About the Action

Senescence2030 is a new COST Action fostering dynamic knowledge exchange on senescence and senotherapy. We connect basic scientists, clinicians, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between research and clinical application in Europe. Our goal is to accelerate the development of effective diagnostics, clinical trials, and interventions in lifestyle and nutrition that target senescence.

While Senescence2030 is just getting started, we’re excited to share our progress. This website is currently under construction, with a full launch planned for this summer. In the meantime, you can find here information about our activities and how to get involved.

Yes, we’ve hit the ground running! Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve accomplished so far:

Kick-off Meetings: Following our initial Management Committee meeting in Brussels, our Core Group followed with an online meeting where operational decisions were taken.
Active Working Groups: Our Working Groups are already engaged in addressing key challenges. Working Groups 1, 2 and 4 have held productive online meetings with over 100 participants, establishing thematic priorities and operational structures.
Mobility Grants Awarded: We have awarded our first round of mobility grants, supporting three researchers in their collaborative endeavors. New calls for mobility grants will open soon, they will be announced on this website, stay tuned!
Summer School: The first Summer has been planned. It will take place in Paris on next June, see below Announcements Section
